A New Chapter—Oligo Products Become Part of Our Corporate Group
For many years, ExtremeLine has been synonymous with innovative, market-leading solutions in the patio cover and sunroom sectors. With infrared heaters, LED lights, sliding roof windows, and downspout systems, numerous well-known companies in the industry rely on our products. Since November 2025, Friederichsen & Raidl GmbH, along with its LIGHTtune brand, has also been part of our corporate group. With its high-quality height-adjustment mechanisms for pendant lights, the brand is a technology leader and is used by leading designer lighting manufacturers worldwide.
Effective September 1, 2026, our corporate group will acquire S.E. System Electronic GmbH, the rights to the OLIGO brand, and operational responsibility for the Grace, Curve, Glance, Yano, and Tudor lighting series.

The nearly 40-year success story of OLIGO, one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of premium designer lighting, will be integrated into our corporate group in the future. This will allow us to expand our portfolio to include high-quality designer lighting “Made in Germany” while simultaneously creating new opportunities in the patio canopy and sunroom sectors. One of our goals is therefore to integrate designer lighting into the conservatory and patio cover markets. This will open up entirely new possibilities for high-quality, customer-friendly lighting solutions in this market.
The Oligo products GRACE, GLANCE, CURVED, YANO, and TUDOR
These five series bring a versatile portfolio of high-quality designer lighting for the home to our corporate group: GRACE combines classic, timeless design with modern lighting technology, while GLANCE embodies an elegant, minimalist aesthetic. CURVED stands out for its striking curved design and modular construction. YANO and TUDOR round out the portfolio with additional high-quality lighting solutions for sophisticated residential and commercial spaces. Depending on the model, the OLIGO residential lights offer modern features such as gesture control, Casambi, Tunable, or invisible height adjustment.
We’ve actually had a technical connection to our corporate group for years: LIGHTtune height-adjustment mechanisms are used in various OLIGO pendant lights. With our in-house development departments, state-of-the-art production facilities, and high level of vertical integration, we are now creating the conditions necessary to further develop the established OLIGO products over the long term.
For our ExtremeLine service, the production of OLIGO residential lighting fixtures also serves as yet another example of the sophisticated products and assemblies we will be able to produce in the future using our machinery, electronics manufacturing capabilities, and development expertise.
New Synergies Between OLIGO and LIGHTtune
The group already includes Friederichsen & Raidl GmbH and its LIGHTtune brand, an established development and component partner to the international lighting industry. LIGHTtune specializes in high-quality height-adjustment mechanisms for pendant lights and is used by various designer lighting manufacturers.
The additional lighting expertise provided by OLIGO residential lighting also opens up new possibilities for the further development of LIGHTtune technology. Thanks to the closer integration of lighting design, component manufacturing, and practical application, materials, designs, manufacturing processes, and assembly procedures can be optimized in a more targeted manner. In addition, a new control system is planned for the future.
The goal is to further develop functions and tailor LIGHTtune even more closely to customer needs. All LIGHTtune customers and partners will benefit from these developments.
Family-owned business with a long-term outlook
As a family-owned business, our corporate group is jointly managed by brothers Christian and Robert Kalteis. Christian Kalteis is responsible for sales and corporate development, while Robert Kalteis oversees product development and innovation within the company. With this acquisition, the group aims to further develop its expertise in the areas of product development, component manufacturing, and industrial production over the long term.
With OLIGO, we are now adding an established German designer lighting brand to our portfolio. At the same time, we plan to further develop LIGHTtune as a technology and components brand and expand our collaboration with both existing and new industry partners.
The shared goal: to develop innovative technologies, manufacture cost-effectively in Germany, and shape the future of the European lighting industry together with manufacturers and specialty retailers.

The group has already demonstrated that such a partnership-based model works through its ExtremeLine brand. For many years, the group has been working with leading manufacturers of patio roofs, sunrooms, and facade systems, supporting them as a development and component partner.
This philosophy will now also shape the further development of OLIGO and LIGHTtune.
