The advantages are obvious.
A lower room temperature reduces heating costs, there is hardly any air turbulence, which is a special added value for allergy sufferers, and drafts and humidity are avoided. In addition, we have designed the heaters so that you can use the maximum ExtremeLine infrared heat from our products. We achieve this by the open heating surfaces, the omission of glass in front of the tubes, a high radiation range and a fast heating phase. Thus, ExtremeLine products provide maximum warmth – at any time, in any place.
In addition, we explicitly use only IR-B and IR-C radiation in our products, thus avoiding the long-wave radiation. We do not use IR-A radiation, as it penetrates up to 6 mm into the deeper layers of the skin and thus accelerates skin aging. IR-A is also not necessarily recommended for the eyes without protective goggles.
Another point worth knowing is that we had our HeatTube tested by Seibersdorf Laboratories EN 60335-2-53, so this radiant heater is also approved for wellness applications. Furthermore, our equipment has been awarded several times and we are proud of our EMAS certification achieved in 2022.

The even radiation power as well as the possibility to set different power levels ensure that you feel completely comfortable! Our products convey feel-good warmth according to the principle of nature. Infrared energy heats bodies and objects directly without significantly heating the surrounding air. Due to atmospheric transmittance, infrared energy can be emitted skin-friendly with little loss up to a distance of four meters.
With infrared-A, on the other hand, the penetration depth into the skin is up to a fatal 6 mm, which is extremely dangerous and can even damage the retina in the eye. With infrared B, the penetration depth is up to 1 mm and with infrared C only up to 0.3 mm. Industries in the healthcare sector rely exclusively on infrared B and C radiation.
Another advantage over ready-made heaters is that infrared heating heats not the air, but bodies. Thus, there is no air circulation and dust whirling is thus avoided.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION
Space-saving heat available immediately, without conversion
You want a new heating system, but don’t want to convert it! Thanks to the mounting bracket, all IR radiators can be installed quickly and easily. Thanks to their compact design, they can be mounted on walls and ceilings to save space. For example, a minimum distance of only 6 cm from the back of the device to wood and only 15 cm to glass must be maintained.
SMART HOME
Simple operation from anywhere saves energy and costs
With the ExtremeLine Smart Home system, the radiant heaters can be easily controlled via radio and app operation. A separate wireless temperature and humidity sensor ensures perfect room temperature and air quality. This saves a lot of energy, which is reflected in the costs.
Control system
You can control our infrared radiators in three power levels by radio. Furthermore, the radiant heaters can also be controlled and configured via Android smartphone. Ecodesign guideline
A regulation for infrared and electric heaters was adopted by the EU, which has been mandatory since 01.01.2018. According to EU Regulation 2015/1188 on the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC, infrared and electric heaters within a building envelope must meet specified control criteria. Among other things, it provides for remote controllability, a room thermostat, weekday control, the possibility of different heating levels, as well as limiting operating times. The building envelope also includes garages, basements, winter and summer gardens and enclosed extensions.
FACTORY CONTROL
ExtremeLine products shipped from the factory with internal or external controls comply with EU Regulation 2015/1188. So with ExtremeLine products, you don’t have to worry about anything else to comply with this regulation.

ON-SITE CONTROL
ExtremeLine offers some products from the factory without the control system required for EU Regulation 2015/1188. This is useful if the installer wants to install its own control system that complies with the regulation. In this case, the installer is responsible for compliance with EU Regulation 2015/1188. In this case, the distributor is expressly the installer.
Why infrared heaters are more environmentally friendly
When a conventional heating system, such as water-borne underfloor heating, is turned on, it takes hours to several days to deliver noticeable heat to people. To shorten this reaction time, such heating systems constantly maintain a high room temperature. This often consumes unnecessary energy.
