News: ExtremeLine takes over downpipe system from Nikoleit
S.E. System Electronic GmbH, with its ExtremeLine brand, will take over the production and distribution of NIKOLEIT’s high-quality aluminum downpipe products for conservatories and similar applications on August 1, 2025.
Herbert Nikoleit is well-known in the conservatory industry and owner of NIKOLEIT WintergartenParadies in Falkensee near Berlin. He has stood for quality and innovation in conservatory construction for over 25 years. A trained toolmaker, he has set standards with his products – particularly with the durable and versatile aluminum downpipe and drainage system, which impresses with its high material quality, diverse powder-coating options, and perfect adaptation to various roof systems.
After more than ten years of successful cooperation with ExtremeLine, he decided to transfer the production of his ORIGINAL downpipe system to the ExtremeLine site in Halfing am Chiemsee.

Christian Kalteis/ Member of the Management Board of S.E. System Electronic GmbH
"We are pleased to continue the proven original downpipe system from Herbert Nikoleit under the ExtremeLine umbrella and to bring it into a successful future with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology."
A key advantage of the Halfing production facility is its modern manufacturing facility, featuring a fully automated laser welding cell with robotics, CNC turning and milling centers, and automated grinding machines. This will enable ExtremeLine to produce and distribute downpipe systems even more efficiently and with consistently high quality.
The advantages at a glance:
- The downpipe and drainage system is specially designed for maximum water flow
- It is made of aluminum, which is very durable, corrosion-resistant, lightweight and extremely robust.
- The system can be powder-coated in various colors to give it a personalized look for your roof.
- Our new fully automatic laser welding cell with robot arm replaces the previous manual welding and thus refines the welds.
- There is no need to screw the pipe system to the gutter, which makes the construction more weather-resistant.
- Our versatile downpipe bracket offers flexible installation options for top and bottom drains, or a rainwater collector. We carry all the components needed for optimal water drainage.
- Thanks to our downpipes, you can easily use standard aluminum pipes D55 x 2 mm or D70 x 2 mm, which you can easily get from your metal wholesaler.
- Regardless of whether your roof has an overhang or not, our system can be easily configured to suit your individual needs.

The connecting element - The small significant difference
For optimal water drainage, the slope is designed according to DIN EN 12056, which regulates gravity drainage. The aluminum drain outlets, available in DN55/DN70, are suitable for flat and round gutters. They ensure that water does not stagnate in the gutter. This improves functionality and protects the gutter.

Our downpipe system – connection element
The illustration shows the drain connection on our downpipe, which allows rainwater to drain smoothly and without any obstructions or diameter reduction. This prevents standing water from accumulating in your gutter, and debris can drain away unhindered.

Commercially available connecting element –
Whereas this illustration of the commercially available solution shows a screw part with gutter recess, overflow and tapered diameter that only allows a low water flow and is therefore only suitable for small roofs.

In times of increasingly extreme weather, protecting your oasis from heavy rain is becoming increasingly important. A reliable gutter and downpipe system is especially essential for conservatories and the like to effectively prevent water damage. Heavy rain can bring large amounts of precipitation within a short period of time, which, if inadequately drained, not only leads to flooding but also to permanent damage and high repair costs.
Therefore, when planning your drainage systems, it’s crucial to pay attention not only to quality but also to optimal coordination with the respective regional rainfall amounts, which is achieved with the Aqua–.
To ensure the perfect fit for your roof, you can use our website’s online configurator to easily determine the appropriate downpipe diameter and the required number of drains – from the gutter to the lower outlet of the water outlet.
