The Winter Garden Days - A short review.
The annual industry meeting of the winter garden and terrace roof builders took place this year again. On November 10-11, 2022, all professional associations met in Berlin for a high-quality and diverse conference program.
On the first day of the conference, there was a wide range of presentation topics. The focus was on the current challenges of manufacturers to become more transparent and how to deal with the new legalities + standards. There were also other presentations on the future, Europe and other Germany-oriented topics. There was also a series of workshops.
Again, there were industry-specific – interesting topics, such as the workshop “Working status of the new technical guideline”, “Planning and installation of curtain walls” and alternative remuneration systems. After the new input, the day ended with dinner at the impressive Berlin TV Tower. Here you could network above the rooftops of Berlin, between after-work beer and business card exchange. The number one topic of discussion at the meeting was the new EU eco-design directives, which entail a relatively large amount of change.
On the second day of the Winter Garden Days, the first item on the agenda was the general meeting. Then we continued with the topic “ground-based construction elements” and very important! “Cybersecurity. In addition to the technical program, the conference was complemented by a foyer exhibition, where we met our partners from the conservatory industry and system providers. Here there was a lot of exchange about the general, lecture and workshop dates, but also a breeze of attention.
On the whole, a really successful event. We say thank you and are already looking forward to next year!
